beautiful meal settings, a campfire in the African evening, the Kowas
choir coming through the woods, a mint on the pillow! Unbelievable! But

Let me
start with the beautiful Namibian sunrises – a spectacular way to
begin our Namibian Kowas Adventure Safari. I appreciate all the hiking
through the grassy hillsides to the wide-open plains. Every aspect of
our hunt here has been an adventure to remember from the first day to
the last. Your area has wonderful species diversity from birds,
ungulates and even snakes? Your trackers and hunters are impressively
skilled and is an asset to your operation. I will never forget our story
telling over the campfire and your warm hospitality. There is an
atmosphere that can always be Africa - true day sounds change to night
sounds, but the atmosphere in your camp compliments Namibia in very
sense…Ansie, thank you for the meals that I can only describe as
gourmet plus. You have a talent for creating meals that are remembered.
Morne and Jacques, your company around the fire was entertaining and
enjoyable. You two are lucky to grow up with such a "setting"
s this. And then the African sunsets: how can I describe this? Anyone
who has watched one or two can only appreciate this first hand. I am
sure you will see us again in Namibia.

After
many trips to Africa, I can only say that staying with Ansie and Danie
at Kowas, was by far the most enjoyable trip of them all. The most
impressing fact besides hunting, was the truly honest and respectful way
the Strauss-family treats their employees, an experience I have not come
upon before in Africa. This and the integrity in maintaining the
operation of a game farm in an ethical way, is hard to find around the
world – and it contributes to the hunting at Kowas more than anything
else! The knowledge of hunting and fauna, flora, we experience every day
by the way Danie guided us around is very deep and concessive. I enjoyed
every stalk and learned more every day about Africa. The tremendous
effort Ansie put into each meal, not only preparing it, but also
arranging it so delicately, will be told to friends around the world –
just wonderful in itself. I wish the Strauss-family all the luck and the
success to keep Kowas what it is – an African experience of its best.

You were right - we
arrived as strangers and we depart as friends. Thank you all very much
for making our dream a very good reality. Your boys are very lucky to
be growing up as they are. They are excellent kids. the meals,
hunting and companionship were first class.

Hunting Guide: Matheus Theofelus (One of Kowas Adventure Safaris employees)
On a recent three
week hunt during June 8- 23 . My brother Jim Fulton & myself Tom Fulton ,
had the pleasure of having Matheus as our PH. We found Matheus to be an
excellent guide , his professional manner & excellent hunting skills &
ethics were a great benefit to our hunt. Matheus also showed excellent skills
in gun safety & all around good attitude.
Our
